Headquartered in Mocksville, North Carolina, American Hardwoods, Inc. is a manufacturer of premium hardwood flooring that is sold in all 50 states as well as other countries. The company was originally founded in Wisconsin 80 years ago by the Weber family using the name Weber Veneer and Plywood as a plywood and veneer manufacturer. It later changed the name to American Hardwoods, Inc. as the company grew into the hardwood flooring market.

The company was purchased by the current owners in 2008 and has moved the operations to the current Mocksville, NC location in 2011. While American Hardwoods still has the specialty plywood and veneer business which was the original foundation, the majority of the products now sold go into the hardwood flooring market.
